This family is making boudin.
Boudin is sausage in a pig intestine casing.It is quite popular in Cajun country.
Don did a pretty fair job of feeding our group biscuits and gravy!
I accompanied Don to take Bits to the veterinarian one day.
First, we stopped at the bakery in St. Martinville, about 20 miles from the campground.
Across the street we enjoyed our purchases under the Evangeline Oak,the tree famous in the poem Evangeline.
We traveled on along Bayou Teche to New Iberia.
After Bits visited the vet we toured the Konriko Rice Factory.It was impressive to see how it is packaged and shipped.

Don brings up the rear as we board the C C Rider for an unforgettable journey.
One of our favorite days was the ride down the Atchafalaya River to Morgan City. Don, Ced, ?, Brenda, Jane, Vi, Clark, Susan, ? JB, Ron are ready for the ride!
This is the C C Rider going through the locks. This was quite a new experience for most of us.
It seems that eating and visiting is what we do best.
